| I believe each new day brings with it adventures that are enhanced when they are shared with love and someone special. The seemingly awful things in life appear to be diminished when shared with love. I trust that the more I give, the more I get back in every facet of life. No exceptions . . . . . . . This is supposed to be the Lighter Side . . . . . . . So even though many of my friends call me "Mr. Bill", I'll always be a kid at heart - - never grow up!
Architecture and writing keep my artistic juices flowing, while occasional flying in a small plane or letting my roadster out on a country road get me . . . . . . . we-l-l you get the picture. Maybe I should get a Harley. Hmm . . . . . . . Fun spontaneous and adventurous; ready to go most anywhere at the drop of a hat, with a comfortable side that likes staying home and kicking back. That's me, Just Plain Bill. I take care of myself spiritually, mentally and physically by spending some time most days in meditation, eating healthy and working out. I am not fanatical about any of it, but I do try and do something every day.
I live in a Country Club setting. My back yard blends into the mountain with an abundance of critters like Cottontails, Coyotes, Roadrunners, Quail, and sometimes a Mountain Lion will appear in the distance. There is a multitude and variety of birds, including a Hawk and an occasional Owl that likes to nest in my Jacaranda Tree. My next door neighbors are great, and the atmosphere is peaceful. The night sky is not polluted with light, and I haven’t been able to count all the stars . . . . . . . . yet . . . . . . . I share these tranquil surroundings with Bogart (Bogie), my German Shepherd Dog.
